
Artistic Director of the Macerata Opera Festival and an internationally acclaimed opera singer. Graduated with honors from the Conservatory of Mantua, he has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages, including La Scala in Milan, the Arena di Verona, the Opéra de Paris, the Royal Opera House in London, the Vienna State Opera, and San Francisco Opera.
After earning a law degree with top marks and a Master in Performing Arts Management from the University of Bologna, he serves as Adjunct Professor in Management and Legislation of Performing Arts at the University of Verona. A music critic and registered journalist, he is recognized nationally.
Since 2018, he has directed the National Artistic Center of Advanced Specialization in Musical Theatre at the Verona Opera Academy Consortium and, since 2020, the Teatro Salieri in Legnago (Verona). His career is marked by a strong commitment to promoting and spreading musical culture within an integrated territorial vision.
He has collaborated with conductors such as Daniele Gatti, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, and Alberto Zedda, and with directors including Mario Martone, Pierluigi Pizzi, Luca Ronconi, and Franco Zeffirelli. He is one of four members appointed by the Minister of Culture to the Music Advisory Commission for 2024–2026. Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, he received the honor for artistic merits from President Sergio Mattarella.
