EDOARDO BOTTACIN

Edoardo Bottacin, artistic director of the Teatro Sociale of Rovigo since January 2023, is defined by the national press as the youngest Italian artistic director of a traditional theatre.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, master’s degree in Economics and Management of the Arts at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, in 2022 he obtained a Master’s degree in Performing Arts Management at the MIP Polytechnic of Milan and the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala. He also graduated in Organ from the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice under the guidance of G. Libertucci.
He trained professionally alongside Cinzia Andreoni, current production director of the Donizetti Opera, at the production office and artistic secretariat of the Teatro Mario Del Monaco in Treviso, later also covering the role of master collaborator in the theaters of Bergamo, Treviso , Fenice of Venice, Bassano Opera Festival. In 2018 he founded the Musincantus association with which he reopened the Trevigiano Musical Autumn and created CortinAteatro, the first opera, concert and theater season of the queen of the Dolomites: Cortina d’Ampezzo. The quality of the projects and productions has guaranteed the recognition and FUS contribution from the Ministry of Culture for all Musincantus activity since 2021. In 2022 he held the role of assistant to the artistic secretariat and production at the Filarmonica Toscanini in Parma.

He collaborated on the publication of unpublished scores dedicated to Treviso musicians in synergy with Diastema editore and on the volume “150 Teatro Comunale di Treviso” for Antiga edizioni.
