Andrea Castello, born in Cavarzere in 1981, trained as an opera singer under the guidance of Sherman Lowe and soprano Barbara Frittoli. He began performing in 1999, soon combining his passion for singing with the organization of musical events, concerts, operas, masterclasses, and vocal competitions both in Italy and abroad. From 2004 to 2016, he directed the Christmas and Solidarity Concert at the Pontifical Parish of Sant’Anna in the Vatican, while from 2006 to 2015 he served as musical consultant and artistic director for the “Amici del Maestro Tullio Serafin” association, promoting the legacy of the renowned conductor. In 2011, he founded the cultural association Concetto Armonico, of which he is president, and since 2013 he has directed the Vicenza in Lirica festival, hosted at the Teatro Olimpico, distinguishing himself by combining great masterpieces, rare works, and emerging talents. Since 2017, he has also been president and custodian of the Tullio Serafin Historical Archive, a project dedicated to preserving and promoting the Maestro’s legacy. Andrea Castello has always emphasized that music represents life and beauty for him, firmly believing in the importance of providing concrete opportunities to young artists and in prioritizing vocal and interpretative quality. In recent years, he has strengthened an international vision, promoting Italian opera and young talents in the most prestigious cultural contexts, making each project an opportunity for discovery, engagement, and artistic growth.
